In a lengthy social media post, the actress said she remained firm in her position and was prepared to withstand whatever pressure came her way.
“Dem don dey beg me, but I am not backing out soon,” she wrote, describing herself as “unfading,” “unwavering” and “a living tiger.”
Rita warned that attempting to force her to abandon her position would only make her more determined.
She said she was prepared for the consequences of confrontation, stressing that she does not break under pressure or retreat because of criticism.
The actress also explained that her silence should not be mistaken for fear, saying she sometimes chooses to remain quiet while observing developments around her.
“I have mastered the art of silence, but never mistake my silence for fear,” she stated.
